Champions League & ZC Knockout Finals Fixtures

Champions League group stages go down to the wire with all three groups evenly posed and no clear group winner yet in Group B and C. ABCDE FC are clear favourites to win group A and will probably face the best 3rd place finish in the Quarter Finals. Group B is not so simple, PPC Warriors are 1 point ahead of surprise package Green Mambas and their final group match is against each other. Champions League & ZC reaches halfway in Group stages

The first round of matches in the Group stages of both the Tuesday Champions League Thursday Zambezi Cup competition. There is no surprise where ABCDE FC have a perfect win record leading group A on Tuesday. Group B has a surprise logtopper with Green Mambas leading the group of death over Serie A PPC Warriors. Innscor League - Wednesday 1 June

1 June - An incredible night of footy games played out - some unbelievable scorelines, some shock results and a new look at the league logs. With all that going on Colcom took 3 pints with a bye and no doubt happy to get free points and miss all the commotion. Champions League & Zambezi Cup undergo- No major upsets

Last night round 2 of the Champions League was played and the group favourites have won both games comfortably. ABCDE FC, Bengaz Stars, Red Bulls and PPC Warriors have all started their group games with wins. The biggest upset of the first round came when Green Mambas over powered Circolo Italiano 6-3. The report on games played on 18 may was superceded by budget reports but highlight was the victory by IAL over Capri which cleared the indecision on which team is second favourite to lift the cup behind the favoured mighty Red Seal Rovers. Innscor League - Wednesday 12 May

On a cold damp night the football was red hot. The night started off with IAL HQ taking on Pearlenta Power and the Natfoods defence was well and truly audited. Thanks to the TV sales guys for filling in. IAL came up tops in a physical game 9-4 victors. TV Sales had a 5-0 walk-over adding some much needed points to the log. Bengaz Stars made the comeback of the season in the Season Finals last match on Saturday night. Tropheys have eluded them for more than a season and finishing 3rd in this Season 9 campaign was enough to give, two time League and Cup Champions, Bengaz Stars another chance to win the Tuesday Serie A League Cup final.
