INNSCOR LEAGUE roundup week 2

29 April 2016

ROUND 2 roundup
Pearlenta power continued their good run winning their 2nd ganme in a row against a spirited Irvines. The Irvines coop now better stocked with substitutes had a lot more to crow about as they kept Pearlenta at bay for most of the match. Much noted improvements and 2 tough teams to keep an eye on.
With Bakers Inn pulling out of the league and TV sales very nearly managing to get a team together – it was left to Red Seal Rovers & Profeeds to pre-test each other with a friendly. 19-2 – Red seal Rovers would consider themselves title contenders at this stage.
IAL HQ in their first appearance in the league impressed with a very nice white kit and some delightful warm-up exercises – all the pre-game entertainment was matched by their performance on the field with a 11-3 defeat over an ever improving Natpak.
Colcom v Capri was an exciting encounter with Capri walking away 9-5 winners. Both teams  playing some great football with clinical finishing. Apparently Capri have been holding secret training camps, but reports are as yet unconfirmed. On the field evidence suggest this to be true.
A few quick business deals and appreciated discounts done while Doro Rakatonhora was declared the nights greatest victor.
